Learn to Write From Your Passion
by Debbie Ducker
It is a well known fact that writing articles is a very powerful tool towards the success of your on line business.
I don't know if that is a good basis to start writing them though. I feel that you should write an article from your passion for the topic you have chosen for it.
Let your passion for that topic flow and you will be surprised at how easy the article gets written.
You don't have to be extremely well trained in writing skills. Basic skills with the ability to check your spelling and grammar will suffice. Which you definitely will want to do before publishing any article.
What is important here is being able to put in words what you know and are passionate about. And passing that on to the reader so that it enables them to take this knowledge and use it to accomplish their own goals of succeeding on line.
Let's go over a few simple steps you can take to get an article written about a topic you have a passion for and that you know something about.
Step 1 - Of course, will be deciding what that topic is. Everyone knows something they can pass on to others. Think what that is for you. What are you really good at? What do you really love to do?
Step 2 - Begin by making notes either mentally or preferably in a note pad document on what you already know about the topic.
Step 3 - Use those notes to decide if what you know should be one article or possibly split in categories for a series of articles. For example when I started the article "Building An Email List with Your Own Newsletter or Ezine", it turned out to be a 3 article series on 3 different ways to build a list.
Step 4 - Once you have decided the above then begin the article. Create the opening paragraph - and start the body. By the time you finish that you will have some idea on a few things you will need to research. Such as basic facts to back up what you have wrote so far or some current statistics is also a way to go with the finishing of the article.
Step 5 - Do this research and add it to what you already have in your body. Or another good way to add this, is as an article resource section at the bottom of your article.
Step 6 - Write the closing of your article, add your signature line and you have just created your article.
I know many of you are thinking this sounds much easier then it really is. And it may be harder for some then others. If you need to study writing skills a little before you start the official article, that is fine. But never give up. Keep trying to put down on paper what you know and love. Before you know it you will be coming up with many ideas to write articles on.
Keep in mind it will greatly depend on your passion for your chosen topics and how experienced you are in these areas. That to me is the key to a good article is getting excited enough about something to convey that to your reader. It can be like a light bulb coming on for some, it will help them that much. When you can do that then you have succeeded.
